Klang.io Choral Mode Update

Klang.io announces Choral Mode, a new transcription mode designed to capture and notate multiple vocal parts simultaneously. Choral Mode expands klang.io’s best-in-class AI-driven music notation tools by being able to recognize and separate standard SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass) vocal sounds from a recording and notate them accurately to sheet music. It is the first AI-transcription tool capable of accomplishing this. Choral Mode is currently available as a Beta for existing Transcription Studio and Sing2Notes users.
Choral Mode builds off of klang.io’s existing ecosystem of AI transcription tools to provide a first-of-its-kind solution for singers, vocal groups, and composers looking to notate multi-part vocal arrangements. Like all klang.io transcription tools, Choral Mode is easy to operate and designed to provide near-instantaneous results. To utilize Choral Mode, simply live record or provide a file of a performance or musical piece with multiple vocal parts, and Choral Mode will analyze and notate each part into sheet music as required. Fine-tuning can then be done in the Notion Editor to ensure the performance reads and performs exactly as intended.
“Transcribing a single singing voice is extremely difficult for AI because of the infinite timbral variations available to the human voice,” says klang.io Founder/CEO Sebastian Murgul. “Choral Mode is the first system of its kind that can not only do that, but also identify up to four voices singing together and separate the vocal parts correctly. This makes it an extremely useful tool for vocal groups, choirs, or concert arrangers looking for a tool to help to write, rehearse, or analyze vocal parts in real-time without having to sit down and painstakingly write each part out individually.”
