The Switzerland based start-up Enova Solutions AG proudly introduces the new 3-pin XLR male and female connectors. With decades of experience, Swiss engineering, and Austrian manufacturing, these XLRs represent the next generation of audio connectivity. Switzerland-based Enova Solutions AG is revolutionizing the Pro Audio and MI Industries with its patented “True Mold” technology, seamlessly merging connector components and cables into fully integrated, ready-made solutions. Following the successful introduction of its next-generation XLR microphone cable and ¼” instrument cable, Enova is thrilled to unveil a cutting-edge 3-pin XLR male and female connector. Engineered in Switzerland and manufactured in Austria, these connectors feature a sleek matte black surface treatment that delivers a high-end look and feel.

Drawing on decades of experience, Enova's innovative design incorporates a proven locking mechanism in the female connector while utilizing advanced die-cast technology for the male connector. This combination enhances durability and performance, making the EnovaNxt connectors ideal for demanding on-stage applications.

EnovaNxt XLR Features and Benefits

  • PureCoreNxt: Unlike conventional technologies, PureCoreNxt surface treatment protects both the exterior and interior of the shell, ensuring an exceptionally durable and long-lasting black finish. This next-generation treatment also offers enhanced protection against corrosion and chipping.
  • Reinforced Locking Design: New die-cast technology enhances the male connector's locking mechanism, eliminating the weakness of the window design for improved durability and smooth operation.
  • Tool-Free Boot Design: The sleek design of the boot features a unique rib structure, allowing for easier tightening without tools. This additional grip makes the EnovaNxt XLRs the ideal choice for field terminations.
  • Color-Coded: The EnovaNxt XLR connectors feature post-assembly color coding, eliminating the need for cumbersome rewiring. This design meets short-term coding needs in the field, using industry-standard colors that can be easily changed without tools. Additionally, conventional colored boots are available as accessories in 10 different colors, offering a wide range of color coding options.
  • Gold Standard: Gold-plated contacts are provided as a standard feature for enhanced performance and durability.

The PureCoreNxt surface treatment enhances the durability of EnovaNxt XLR connectors, safeguarding them against corrosion and chipping. Weighing approximately 35 grams, they are lightweight and easy to handle. The standard black polymer chuck strain relief is suitable for cable diameters of 3 to 7 mm, seamlessly integrating with the connector design. Set to launch in fall 2024, the EnovaNxt microphone XLR connections will be available in 3-pin configurations.
