ADAM Audio D3V
ADAM Audio reveals the D3V, a compact nearfield monitoring system that draws from the company’s 25 years of loudspeaker innovation. Designed for songwriters, producers, and music lovers, the D3V is available in black or white editions and delivers ADAM Audio’s renowned quality up close and conveniently. Each active pair feature 3.5” aluminium woofers that are complemented by dual-sided passive radiators for bass response down to 45 Hz. A signature AMT tweeter is incorporated in the form of the 1.5” D-ART, for the same precise and unfatiguing high-end that the established monitors are known for. The monitoring system comes complete with DSP-powered room acoustics switches, desktop stands, and an underside microphone (3/8”) mounting interface.
A distinct advantage of the D3V is the USB-C port. This allows the system to behave as an audio output device and negates the need for an additional audio interface for playback. It also preserves digital signal, allowing for superior audio reproduction.Balanced TRS inputs are also included for traditional audio applications, as well as a front-facing headphone socket and multi-function volume knob.
The D3V will be available to customers in Europe and the United States by mid-November and will feature at AES New York (Oct 08-10), Music China Shanghai (Oct 10-13), Amsterdam Dance Event (Oct 17-19), and Leatcon Hamburg (Oct 22-24). The suggested retail pricing is as follows: $299.99, €329.99, £289.99 (price per pair).
