Lawo at NAMM Show 2025
Lawo, a company with expertise in professional audio technology, is set to captivate the global pro audio community at the 2025 NAMM Show, held January 23 through 25 at the Anaheim Convention Center. At booth 17306 in the North Hall, Lawo will unveil its latest advancements in audio production applications, designed to empower professionals with unmatched performance, flexibility, and innovation. Taking center stage will be Lawo’s mc² audio production consoles, represented by the mc²56 MkIII and mc²36 MkII (pictured above), loaded with the brand-new, cutting-edge software version 12.0.0. This update redefines the capabilities of the mc² audio consoles powered by the A__UHD Core Audio Engine, and adds native support for the HOME mc² DSP App.
Software release 12.0.0 contains the following enhancements that streamline operations and elevate efficiency, and more: a newly designed Strip Assign page simplifies channel management, offering intuitive workflows and faster navigation to save valuable setup time; integration with Waves SuperRack 14 systems is taken to the next level by means of the ProLink protocol, ensuring seamless communication and reducing errors while allowing instant access to plug-ins; additionally, improvements to signal management provide engineers with clear visual feedback, enhancing operational clarity even in multi-console environments.
Further, this new version ushers in a new era of flexibility and power, with native control of HOME mc² DSP and the addition of 128 processing channels for the mc²36 MkII. Lawo’s HOME mc² DSP is a software alternative to the A__UHD Core processor in a CPU-based package for production workflows and is based on Lawo’s unified, open HOME platform where operational agility is key. Running on generic CPU platforms using cloud-native technologies and container-based microservices, the HOME mc² DSP App ensures exceptional agility and scalability, enabling professionals to meet the demands of even the most complex audio production workflows. The HOME mc² DSP App provides up to 2048 input processing channels with the acclaimed mc²-grade DSP architecture, natively supporting immersive formats.
