STAGETEC NEXUS compact V2.3.0
On time for NAB, STAGETEC released a new software version for NEXUS compact, STAGETECs high end audio interface which is considered “the swiss army knife” of audio production. NEXUS compact makes STAGETEC’s award winning TrueMatch A/D conversion technology available to anyone who wants nothing but the best audio quality available, for a very competitive price.
Not only is NEXUS compact equipped with 8 STAGETEC TrueMatch A/D converters with 158dB dynamic range and 4 digital splits each, 8 line outputs, 8 AES3 I/Os and GPIO, it also provides 16 freely assignable processing channels with 10-Band EQ, Compressor, Limiter, Expander and Delay and 121 input to 16 (24) buss mix engine. It is available in a handy desktop housing with DANTE or AES67 and allows remote control via Ember+ for complex system integration or simple control via Bitfocus Companion.
This new software (v.2.30) provides many improvements, such as pre/post metering, a better overview of processing channels, as well as an optional automixer with two automix-groups, each with up to eight channels. A software license grants access to a brand new, unique feature: STAGETEC group compression. Group Compression mode allows you to compress up to 8 channels as a group (e.g. Vocals) without summing. In addition to the channel dynamics, Group Compression has three different modes that allow traditional buss style compression while maintaining discreet channel paths. This is not possible with traditional group or buss compression! Another optional license expands the mix busses from 16 to 24 and also enables buss PFL and SOLO functionality. Additionally, this software update allows sample rates up to 192kHz! With an additional license, the microphone input parameters can be remote controlled from YAMAHA mixing consoles (CL/QL series).
